NaGISA Current News
NaGISA seagrass and rocky
shore protocols have been adopted by Monitoring 1000, a Japanese NPO
set up by conscientious volunteers and local entrepreneurs to survey
the biodiversity of forest field, fresh water, marshland and
marine environments. Information on this development and the sites
chosen for the marine surveys will follow- This August NaGISA`s Indian and Atlantic Ocean regions joined forces to create a cross-cultural marine educational exchange. Students from Niceville Florida and Central Kenya traveled to Zanzibar with researchers from the University of Dar et Salaam to sample NaGISA`s first island site in the Indian Ocean. See Photos and Media coverage of the exchange.
