How to edit NaGISA Online Page
- log in
- access to a page which needs editing
- edit a page
- create a calendar event
- create a page (Managers ONLY)
- delete a page (Managers ONLY)
- choose a way to display items in a folder (Managers ONLY)
1. log in
Click 'log in' in toppage, and enter Login Name and Password.

If one succeed in logging in, a personal bar appeared. The personal bar includes 'user name,' 'help' (link to this page), 'preferences' to configure your profile and change password, 'undo' to cancel the results of your editing, and 'log out.'
For example, one edits a certain page in 'About Us' folder.

2. access to a page which needs editing
When one access to a page after logging in (NaGISA Contacts Page in this example), content tabs appeared. There are 'view,' 'edit,' and 'properties' tabs. This page in 'pending' state, which means that NaGISA members can edit. If one cannot find the page, a search box is useful.

3. edit a page
Click 'edit' tab and edit the content in the editing field. After editing, save the results following the process below.

4. create a calendar event
After logging in, click 'NaGISA Events' on the top page. Clicking 'Add New Event' on NaGISA schedule calendar, one can create a new event. See example.
Please make sure of a state of the event, which determines a behavior of the event on NaGISA schedule calendar:
- Members (default) - visible for NaGISA member only
- Published - visible for anonymous user, and displayed on the small calendar on the top page and also appearing as 'Upcoming Event.'

5. create a page (Managers ONLY)
In a folder which needs new page, click 'Add to Folder' tab and choose a item type to add ('page' in this example, 'image' in case of JPG or GIF, 'file' in case of PDF). After determining the title and the body text of new page, save the results.

6. delete a page (Managers ONLY)
In a page which needs deleting, click 'Actions' tab and choose 'delete.' 'cut' and 'paste' are also available.

7. choose a way to display items in a folder (Managers ONLY)
Click 'display' tab and choose a way to display. If a folder includes content pages, choose 'change content item as default view.' If a folder includes only images, 'thumbnail view' is useful.
