The Eastern Pacific Region (EPac)
Run by Dr. Brenda Konar of the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, University of Alaska Fairbanks EPAC is in charge of the NaGISA sites in the Eastern Pacific. Very active in the field (see selected photos here) EPAC NaGISA started in April 2003 and continues to grow, expanding its sites from the Bering Sea all the way down to Baja California with the participation of Dr. Rafael Riosmena-Rodriguez of the Programa de Investigacion en Botanica Marine Departamento de Biologia Marine UABCS and Dr. Matt Edwards in San Diego State University, California.
