South American Seas (SAS)
NaGISA South American Seas (SAS) is run by Dr. Patricia Miloslavich with the help of Elizabeth Huck of the Laboratorio de Biologia Marina, Departmento de Estudios Ambientales, Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela. It is started in 2004 currently has 12 active sites. The area includes the coastline of the South American continent, from the both the Atlantic and the Pacific sides.
